Canton Water Works
The annual report of the Canton, O., water department for 1915 shows total receipts from all sources of $231,197.76. The expenditures for the year were $226,293.64 leaving a balance January 1 of $4,904. A big increase is shown in expenditures including $72,484 for extension of mains as against $45,700 in 1914. A deficit of $20,000 in the sinking fund is wiped out and instead a balance of $2,142 created. The expenditures for the office during the vear amounted to $11,102; pumping station operation $35,328; distribution system upkeep $9,652; extraordinary expenditures $143 879.
