Chief Burt Fisher Again Breaks His Leg
The first accident of the winter in Chicago caused by slippery pavements occurred when Battalion Fire Chief Burton Lee Fisher, while answering a fire call at West Pullman slipped on the ice and broke his right leg. This is the second time within a year that Chief Fisher has broken his right leg. About eleven months ago he fell at a fire at Michigan and Rush streets and broke his right leg. He was laid up for several months then. He is now at Mercy Hospital. Chief Fisher is secratary of the National Firemen’s Association.
