Chief Linkman, to Get $213 Monthly Pension

First Assistant Chief George Linkman, of the Milwaukee, Wis., fire department, who retired on February 1 after a service of 41 years with the Milwaukee fire department, will receive a pension of $213.75 a month for the remainder of his life and upon his death his wife will receive $212.99 a month as long as she lives. Mr. Linkman has been first assistant chief for the past twenty years.

New Buffalo city service truck mounted on a Larrabee chassis recently delivered to the Minisink Hook and Ladder Company, of the Goshen, N. Y., fire department. The apparatus is furnished with the standard ladder equipment, the longest being a 55-foot extension ladder. It has been accepted and placed in service.

Veteran Seattle Fireman Dead—W. J. Elliott, 64, a member of the Seattle, Wash., fire department for twenty-seven years died last month at his home in that city.
