Chief O’Brien Restored to Health
Chief Chris. O’Brien, of the fire department of Shreveport, La., after an absence from his city of ten months, his many friends will be glad to know, is back again in harness, fully recovered in health and cured of the lung trouble with which he has been suffering, ft will he recalled that last November 10 Chief O’Brien was compelled to relinguish active duty and was sent to El Paso, Tex., where he has been resting and treating his illness. Thus he was reluctantly compelled to break his long record and forego attendance at the Golden Jubilee Convention of International Association of Fire Engineers, the first he has missed in his long career. FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING feels sure that it echoes the sentiments of all in extending its congratulations to Chief O’Brien on his complete recovery.
