Clothing Research Contract

Grumman Aerospace Corporation has received a $478,375 federal government contract to develop better turnout gear. Greater protection and lighter weight are sought while maintaining competitive costs.

The contract was awarded to Grumman in a joint venture by the National Fire Prevention and Control Administration and the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center at Huntsville, Ala.
