The water consumption in Colorado Springs. Colo., for November amounted to 165,066,000 gallons, or about 5,502,000 gallons daily, according to the report of B. B. McReynolds. superintendent. “As yet the snow fall on our water sheds,” the report reads, “has been quite light, but we are not worrying about the matter as we are yet likely to have a normal precipitation. and that, with the amount in storage that we are conserving as much as possible. would be ample to carry us through another season.” For all purposes the city has 1,571 000,000 gallons stored. There are 300.000,000 gallons stored fod irrigation purposes in Prospect Lake and Pike View reservoirs. For drinking purposes there are 4,000,000 gallons stored in reservoir No. 8: 60,000,000 in reservoir No. 2: 474,000.000 in reservoir No. 4: 510,000 000 in reservoir No. 5: 223,007,777 in Lake Moraine. The storage shows a decrease of 100,000,000 gallons during the month, while the streams are pouring in 4.000.000 gallons daily. There are 162,958,000 gallons flowing to the Hydro-Electric Company’s plant each month.
