Combination Ladder Company Sales
The Combination Ladder Company, of Providence, R. I., recently made delivery at Langhorne, Pa., of a Waterous pumping engine. The tests were made before a committee of the board of underwriters, and in every way the engine exceeded specifications, and was immediately accepted. The Combination Ladder Company has also filled the following other contracts: Acquackanonk Township. N. J., a hook and ladder truck; Wharton, N. J., a combination chemical engine and ladder truck; Floral Park. N. V., a volunteer hose wagon; Phillipsburg, N. J., two specially designed hose carriages; Wharton, N. J.. a Gleason & Bailey design of hose wagon; Warren Point. N. J., Holloway double tank chemical fire engine; Chester. Pa., a first size Amoskeag steam engine; Winchester. Mass.. Hunneyman steam fire engine; Harrisburg. Pa., one combination chemical and hose wagon; Schenectady, N. Y., to rebuild a Clapp Sr Jones steam fire engine: New Brunswick. N J., a Waterous triple automatic pumping engine, hose wagon and chemical engine. The company has also contracted with the United States Government to supply two Holloway designed chemical fire engines for the Schofield Barracks in San Francisco, Cal. A double tank Holloway chemical fire engine has just been delivered by the company to Fort Andrews. Mass., for the Government, and also one to Manila. P. I.
