Connecticut College Plans Working Sessions
A program covering a wide variety of training is being planned for the annual Connecticut State Fire College to be held June 5-9 at the training grounds of the New Haven Fire Department. Reintroduced into the schedule will be a course in master streams and the radiation course will accent the fireman’s problem of nuclear material that may be encountered in industrial or highway fires.
Other courses will include hose and ladder work, pump operation, rescue practices, ventilation, aircraft crash firefighting and breathing apparatus. In response to the demand, more time will be spent in daily working sessions and lecture time will be kept to a minimum.
