CONNECTICUT FIRE CHIEFS TO MEET.

CONNECTICUT FIRE CHIEFS TO MEET.

President A. C. Hendrick, of the Fire Chief’s Club, of Connecticut, writes that, by special request of Chief R. H. Meachem, of New Haven, who promises a very pleasant and enjoyable entertainment after the transaction of the regular business, the spring meeting of that association will be held in Fireman’s hall, New Haven (Annex) fire department, on Thursday, May 18, 1905, at 11 o’clock a. m. President Hendricks points out that “fire chiefs’ clubs are everywhere growing in importance and popularity, are doing good service in the interest of, and working in harmony with the State and other fire associations.” He is, therefore, “very desirous at this time in urging the attendance of every member, and especially urges the presence at this meeting of all chiefs and former chiefs, and qualify as active members.” To the latter he would say that they “cannot afford to remain outside of such an organisation.” Secretary John S. Jones, of Westport, Conn., will furnish all information.
