D. A. Woodhouse, Eastern Agent for Nott Engines

D. A. Woodhouse, of New York City, has taken the general eastern agency of the Nott Engine Company in connection with their Nott motor fire apparatus and the Nott steam fire engines. Mr. Woodhouse is well known in the trade, not only in connection with his fire department supply equipment business, but as an old agent of the Nott Fire Engine Company for 10 years on their horse-drawn apparatus, and the high efficiency shown by the Nott Company’s motor fire apparatus no doubt will result in a number of orders through this agency. The number of cities and towns which have purchased motor fire apparatus through Mr. Woodhouse will be pleased to be advised that be was enabled to procure such a valuable agency, and has renewed bis old association with the Nott Company. Mr. Woodhouse claims the credit of having put through the sale of the first motor pumping engine east of the Alleghanics, which was bought hv the Trenton. N. J., fire department. Since then he has placed motor fire apparatus in the leading cities and towns in the eastern states.
