Death of General J. H. Lloyd.
Brig. Gen. James H. Lloyd died at his home in Troy, N. Y., last Sunday of arterio sclerosis, following an illness of several weeks. Gen. Lloyd was prominent both in military and Masonic circles, being commander of the Third Brigade, National Guards, New York, and grand sworqbearer of the Grand Commandery, Knights Templar, of New York state. Gen. Lloyd attained renown as the captain of the drill corps of Apollo Connnandery, No. 15, Knights Templar, of Troy, and instructor of several famous volunteer fire company drill corps, and had been azsistant chief of the Troy fire department. Gen. Lloyd was a horn organizer and tactician. He was born at Albany, July 25, 1853
