DEATH OF J. P. FOLEY
We regret to announce the death of J. P. Foley of Holyoke, Mass. The deceased was well known throughout the country as a salesman of pumping machinery. He commenced his career in this line with the Dean Steam Pump company of his native city, and after severing his connection with that firm, was employed by the Holly Manufacturing company of Lockport, N. Y. He resigned from that company and was soon afterwards employed by H. R. Worthington, with which house he remained for two years when he was sent to take charge of its Denver office. He resigned that position some time ago and became connected with the Laidlaw-Dunn-Gordon company, in* whose employ he was at the time of liis death. Mr. Foley was a bright salesman and was very sucessful in all his transactions. He has been married only a short time, and leaves a wife and two children to mourn liis loss. His death occurred at the St. Nicholas Hotel, Cincinnati, Saturday, May 18th. It is a very sad occurrence in view of the fact that Mr. Foley was a young man, and had every prospect of a successful career in his calling. He was a great favorite with every one with whom he came in contact, and was much respected by liis employers, liis body was taken charge of by the Masonic fraternity of Cincinnati and was conveyed to Holyoke for interment.
