Eastern Chiefs to Meet June 6-8
At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Association of Fire Chiefs, held in New York City on February 1, June 6, 7 and 8 were selected as the dates for this year’s convention, which will be held at the Du Pont Hotel in Wilmington, Del.
After a forenoon trip through the famous Du Pont Gardens on Thursday, June 6, the convention will start its first business session. On Friday evening the delegates will be guests at a buffet supper and on Saturday afternoon they will lie taken to see the races at the Delaware Race Track. The balance of the time will be devoted to technical sessions.
