Eastman Nozzle Streams.
The very high quality of the streams produced by the use of the Eastman Nozzles, is generally known throughout fire departments, in all sections of the country. Another large field for their use, on account of the excellence of the streams they produce is for hydraulic work, and during the last few months the company has been favored with a large number of orders (which are rapidly increasing) for its nozzles for this purpose. A large number of these nozzles have been shipped to the Pacific coast for this class of work, where they have replaced the old style formerly used, on account of the more efficient streams that they produce. The company has also been favored with quite a large number of orders from phosphate mining companies in Florida, and the following copy of a letter received from the Fort White Hard Rock company, of Fort White, Fla., is a good sample of the letters Samuel Eastman & Co., are leceiving: “We received your 3-in. nozzle and 1½-⅛. tip. We are moving 50 per cent, more material with it, than with any nozzle we have ever used, with the same volume of water and the same pressure. The stream hits the bank solid, and its cutting effect is wonderful and should insure the adoption of your nozzle in every hydraulic phosphate plant in Florida. Yours, Ft. White Hard Rock Company, F. W. Pope, Manager.”
Samuel Eastman & Co., have recently been favored with orders from such cities as Atlanta, Ga., New York city, Buffalo, N. Y., Detroit, Mich., Mount Vernon, Ohio, Winthrop, Mass., Chester, Pa., Manhattan, Kan., Bellingham, Wash., Chelsea, Mass., and many others.
