Exhibitors and Where They Are
features
Some 160 exhibitors will fill the Las Vegas Convention Center—starting at 8:30 a.m. September 15—with a full variety of fire fighting and related equipment that ranges from training mannikins to articulating water towers, and all for the edification of the men assembled for the 102nd conference of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. The Las Vegas Center encompasses some 300,000 square feet of space that holds the exhibit hall, meeting rooms and associated facilities, all conveniently located under one roof. It is also conveniently located to the headquarters hotel, the Las Vegas Hilton—just a short walk away.
The exhibits will be spread over the East Hall of the center on one level and will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. On Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., manufacturers will demonstrate their equipment outdoors in an area adjacent to the exhibit hall.
This largest exhibition of fire equipment in the country is larger than it has ever been and the exhibitor personnel has expanded accordingly. Chiefs interested in any or all equipment displayed will have the opportunity to see, inspect and discuss them with the manufacurers’ representatives who will be available at their respective booths,
For those who might be reluctant to go out in the noonday desert sun, the East Hall is more than adequately equipped with restaurant and quick-food facilities.
