Explosives Specifications Made Standard

Specifications for the testing and use of permissible explosives formulated by the United States Bureau of Mines in connection with such work performed at the experiment station at Pittsburgh, Pa., have been approved as American standard by the American Engineering Standard Committee. The designation A. E. S. C. No. 23-1922 has been given to these specifications.

A new American-LaFrance city service truck was received by the fire department of Dayton, Ohio, on October 22.
