Fainting Spells

A fire hydrant is a harmless thing—if left alone. But in Milwaukee a seventeen-year-old boy rushed to turn in an alarm and collided with a fire hydrant on his way back to the blaze. The impact knocked him out. His mother saw the boy lying in the street and she shrieked and fainted. The father came out and fainted when he saw the condition of the others in his family. A number of firemen were required to revive the family. The blaze itself was trivial.
