Two Dead, Four Critical in Baltimore Fire

BALTIMORE (WMAR/ABC2 News) – A house fire in northwest Baltimore has left two people dead. The fire started just after 2 a.m. on the 2800 block of Lawina Road. The home listed as Kozy Kottage Assisted Living.

Seven people were rescued from the house and six were taken to the hospital in critical condition. One person refused treatment, according to Baltimore City Fire Department spokeswoman Blair Adams. Two people have been pronounced dead. Four people are currently in critical condition.

3 Killed in Three-Alarm Baltimore (MD) Fire


A woman and two children were killed by a fire that started in a southwest Baltimore home at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. The fire spread from that home to damaged nearly a dozen more, according to a report from the Washington Post and WBAL NBC 11 in Baltimore.

The cause of the three-alarm fire is under investigation and reports indicate that the unidentified woman and the two children were found dead inside the home where the fire originated.
