Film on Explosions Available
“Anatomy of an Explosion,” a 16 mm. film with a running time of 18 minutes, has been produced by Fenwal. Inc. of Ashland. Mass. Prints are available from Association Film Libraries in Ridgefield, N. J.; Oakmont. Pa.; LaGrange, Ill.; Dallas, Tex.; and Hayward. Calif.
Using high-speed cameras, the film illustrates how an actual explosion takes place, from the point of ignition to the final detonation. It explores detection equipment that reacts to conditions of combustion and automatically suppresses them in 5, 10 and 20 thousandths of a second.
