Fire Station Wins Award
Engine Company No. 69, Chicago, Ill., was awarded first prize for the finest police or fire station lawn in the annual “Save the Lawn” campaign. This campaign is a city-wide beautification plan headed by the Chicago Park Commission. Fire Commissioner Michael J. Corrigan, the donor of the award, made the presentation.
