4-Alarm Paterson (NJ) Fire Destroys Two Homes

Firefighters responded Tuesday night to a four-alarm Paterson (NJ) fire that destroyed two homes and displaced more than 30 residents, according to news reports.

The Record reported that began around 5 p.m. and raged in two multifamily homes. The fire damaged another house and its radiant heat damaged adjacent buildings.

Firefighters controlled the fire around 9 p.m., Deputy Chief Frank Calamita told reporters.
