About 460 members and delegates attended the 15th annual convention of the New Jersey Firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Association, held in Newark on October 30. The following officers were chosen for the ensuing year: President, Thomas P. Plunkett, of Hoboken; first vicepresident, James O’Rourke, of Elizabeth; second vice-president, George Henry, of East Orange; recording secretary, Robert D. Bender, of Newark; financial secretary, John J. Kingman, of Jersey City; treasurer, William J. Rose, of Camden; sergeant-at-arms, William Murphy, ot Newark; state counselor, J. A. Stafford, of Paterson.
