Firestone Annual Sales Convention

Firestone Annual Sales Convention

The Firestone Tire and Rubber Company’s annual sales convention was in session in Akron, O., the past week about three hundred men from all parts of the country attending. A feature of this, the greatest convention in the company’s history, was the publication of a four-page daily newspaper, entitled “CoOp” to acquaint all the delegates with the doings of the sessions. At the opening session welcoming speeches were made by R. J. Firestone and H. S. Firestone.

Firestone Annual Sales Convention

The third week in October will bring with it another of the annual sales conventions of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. Over 250 men will be called in front the firing line, which etends from coast to coast and into many foreign countries. It is expected that a number of the foreign representatives will be at the convention. Since the company completed its large, new factory in 1910 there has not been a time when additions were not under construction. The visiting representatives will be pleased to find that the same is true this year; 95,000 square feet additional floor space having been added since last October. It will lie gratifying to them to know that the expansion is due largely to their work in the field.
