H. S. Tuttle Honored on Retirement

Hosea S. Tuttle, master mechanic of the Minneapolis, Minn., fire department for more than thirty-two years, has resigned, he says, because “they are sore at me because my report on trial of motor apparatus did not satisfy them.” He entered the department in 1872 and served until 1879. He again became a member on Jan. 2, 1884, and has served continuously until his retirement June 1. He is 70 years old.
