For the first time in nearly a year, reports Chief Engineer Caleb N. Saville, the six reservoirs of Hartford, Conn., are full and running over. Recent rains added 36,000,000 gallons to the city’s supply in little more than 24 hours, No. 1 reservoir in West Hartford gained _____.92 inches, No. 4 reservoir in Farmington gained 3.85 inches and No. 6, in Bloomfield showed a gain of 3.52 inches. With the reservoirs overflowing, 2,123,900,000 gallons were in storage at the end of the storm, which amount was 36,400,000 gallons more than at its beginning. Worcester, Mass., also profited by the same storm and water is running over the spillways of all the reservoirs.
