Harvard Fire Executive Fellowship Program deadline is January 31, 1999
Harvard University has six fellowships available for its 1999 “Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government.” Applicants must be senior fire executives who have demonstrated significant career accomplishments and who have the potential to impact and initiate change. Selected fellows would attend one of two three-week programs at the Cambridge, Massachusetts, campus–June 13-July 2, or July 11-21. Applicants must be available to attend either session.
Applicants must submit the following:
FEMA General Admission application (Form 75-5) , which must be postmarked no later than January 31, 1999.
An organizational chart of the applicant`s sponsoring organization (the applicant`s position must be highlighted).
A resume (highly encouraged).
Preference may be given to graduates of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program, but program completion is not a prerequisite.
Preference may be given to applicants who have completed graduate-level degree programs or course work.
Individuals whose organizations were represented in the 1996, 1997, or 1998 Harvard Fellowship Programs will not be considered.
Semifinalists will be sent complete program information and materials for the essay-based secondary application process.
