I.A.F.C. Conference to Have Outstanding Exhibit Display

Reservations already made for exhibit space at the annual conference of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, to be held at the Municipal Auditorium in San Francisco, Cal., on September 12-15, 1950, assure a most outstanding exhibit feature for the conference. Chief L. C. Canning, of Midvale, Utah, Chairman of the Exhibit Committee, reports the following concerns as having already signed up.

San Francisco F.D. Headquarters Near I.A.F.C. Convention Hall San Francisco’s City Hall, headquarters of the San Francisco Fire Department, dominates the famed Civic Center. Four stories high and covering two city blocks, its dome rises 308 feet above ground level. Across broad Van Ness Avenue stands the War Memorial Opera House, which will be the scene of the opening session and memorial services of the 1950 I.A.F.C. Conference. Other sessions as well as the exhibits will be located in the Exposition Auditorium, diagonally across Polk Street from the City Hall. Conference dates are September 12 to 15. inclusive, with the Pacific Coast Inter-Mountain Division and the Great Lakes Division convening one day earlier and then meeting jointly with the International.
