The Bureau of Fire Standards and Training has an opening for a qualified person to serve as an instructor with the Florida State Fire College in Ocala. Applicants must be knowledgeable in and have a background in all areas of fire service training, be familiar with all IFSTA manuals, must be able to compose outlines and be willing to travel throughout the State of Florida. The salary range is from $11,600 to $15,890.

The Special Fire Defense Committee of the Rockland County Volunteer Firemen’s Association has an opening for a competent instructor to organize and conduct a fire training school in Rockland County. It is the plan of the committee to establish a complete fire training school, starting from scratch. Information on the position of instructor may be secured from Charles M.
