International Events Scheduled For FDIC 2014

Special Announcement To Be Made During International Networking Reception

Indianapolis, IN, April 10, 2014 – International attendees and exhibitors attended the first FDIC International Networking Reception, where FDIC Executive Vice President, Eric Schlett, announce the official 2015 event will be titled FDIC International. A record attendance of over 30,000 firefighters from around the world is expected to attend FDIC 2014 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, making it the largest FDIC ever held in its 87-year history.  

“FDIC recognizes the importance of educating a world-wide audience in regard to the most current trends in firefighting training and techniques,” stated Schlett, “as well as providing a platform to showcase new technology and products within the fire service.”

“This is not merely an updated logo, but a paradigm shift within our brand strategy,” continued Schlett, “FDIC International will strive to reach all corners of the globe in our continuing effort to train and educate the fire service within communities around the world.

In partnership with International Fire Buyer, a publication of Hand Media, Inc., the event included attendees and exhibitors for all over the world.

The world’s premier fire training conference and exhibition, FDIC also features 150+ classroom sessions taught by 500 instructors, and 800 exhibiting companies featuring the latest technologies in fire apparatus, equipment and life-saving product advancements.
