Joseph H. Thomas Passes Away
Joseph H. Thomas died on Thursday, March 24, at his home, 1438 Owego Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio.
‘Joe” Thomas was widely known in fire circles through his long association with the fire apparatus business. He was a familiar figure at all of the conventions and was perhaps one of the best-known men in the fire apparatus business. For forty years he has been a valued employee of the American-LaFrance Fire Engine Company of Elmira, N. Y., traveling chiefly in the eastern part of the country for that company.
Mr. Thomas’s genial disposition won him friends wherever he went, and he will be missed sincerely by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Joa C. Thomas. The funeral was field Monday, March 28.
