Kent, Ohio, Has New Chief
After twenty-three years as a fireman, Robert M. Clark has attained the rank of Chief of the Kent, Ohio, Fire Department. He has served the department in the capacity of private, Lieutenant. Captain, and Assistant Chief.
In his youth Bob Clark was so vitally interested in the fire department that he assisted in pulling the hose carts to the fires. During his years of service. Clark has been instrumental in securing boats and a boat house on the Cuyahoga river. The boats are to be used for rescue work. He worked toward the procuring of the first truck, which was financed bypublic subscriptions.
