Masons Honor Mendelssohn
Paxton Mendelssohn, widely known fire buff, has been honored by Masonry and will probably become a thirty-third degree Mason next September when the Supreme Council meets in Milwaukee. He has been nominated for this honor.
He has gone through the various subofficerships of the Masonic Temple Association of Detroit, and at present is President of the organization which has control of the $8,000,000 Masonic building. He is a past-President of the Board of Trustees of the Scottish Rite in Detroit. Mr. Mendelssohn entered the order in 1911 and has been active in it ever since, particularly in committees and in Board of Trustees work.
