Massachusetts Chiefs’ Club to Meet
The regular March meeting of the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Massachusetts has been arranged for March 31 at 12:30 p. m., in the Parker House, Boston.
One of the things to be considered is the matter of insurance adjustments. The contention is that fire losses are settled for much more than the actual damage done. Then, as in the case of Boston, when the per capita fire loss is determined, the figures show unusually high, and fire insurance rates are increased.
Some very interesting discussions on the subject arc expected at this meeting. William H. Hill of Belmont is secretary of the club.
