Explosions in MD Government Buildings

Update 3:52 PM Eastern: The Associated Press is reporting that two packages sent to Maryland state government buildings 20 miles apart released smoke and the smell of sulfur when they were opened. A mailroom employee was hurt, but not seriously.

The incidents, which were originally reported as being explosions, occurred Thursday afternoon at the Jeffrey Building on Francis Street in downtown Annapolis and another at the Maryland Department of Transportation building in Hanover.
