In late August, Miami-Dade (FL) Fire Rescue firefighters responded to a two-alarm house fire in Pinecrest.

According to a report from Local 10 news, smoke could be seen coming from the front door of the residence as fire crews sprayed this home with water during firefighting operations on August 24. Extreme heat forced firefighters from the residence, and they had to fight the fire from the exterior, the report said.

The occupants managed to escape unharmed, and there were no reported injuries.
