MRS. T. K. HARDING DEAD.
Readers of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING will learn with great regret that Mrs. Harding, wife of Chief T. K. Harding, of Bay City, Mich., fire department, died in that city on July 7 from the effects of a surgical operation. The deceased lady, who was fifty-five years old and had been married twenty-seven years, leaves five children to share their grief with their father at the loss of a loving mother and a faithful and affectionate wife. The common council of the city, representing Chief Harding’s fellow’ citizens, passed a series of well deserved sympathetic resolutions bearing witness to the sorrow universally entertained by all at his sad bereavement. FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING would sincerely condole with Chief Harding and his family in their heavy affliction.
Deal, N. J., has a new’ w-ater supply from artesian wells and a standpipe 152 feet high, which will give a hose stream over a hundred feet in height.
