New Apparatus for Boston.
The new apparatus that was bought for the Boston fire department to replace that which was destroyed by fire has arrived. There are two engines, a city truck, an aerial truck and a chemical engine. The new apparatus represents an expenditure of about $19,000. The new aerial truck is to be established at Truck 14’s house in Fort Hill square, while the new chemical is slated for service at the Bulfinch street station. The chemical engine in service at Bullfinch street will probably go to Shawmut avenue and the one at Shawmut avenue to Egleston square. The chemical at the Egleston square station will be put in reserve,
