The New England Water Works Association held its monthly meeting in Boston on March 9. More than 150 members were present. After routine business had been transacted, the meeting lunch was served. At its conclusian. H. W. Clark, chemist for the Massachusetts state board of health read a paper upon “Double Filtration of Polluted Waters” and Desmond FitzGerald. C . E., of Boston, read a paper on “Mediaeval Times of Germany.”

The next monthly meeting of the New England Water Works Association will be held at the Hotel Brunswick. Boston, on March 9th, when the programme will be as follows:
