Rockefeller recently signed into law a bill which provides that uniformed firemen required to work on New Year’s Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Washington’s Birthday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day be given equivalent time off within one year.
