Newly Formed Wisconsin Section, A. W. W. A.

At the meeting which formed the Wisconsin Section of the American Water Works Association, held on June 8 and 9, there was, according to Secretary C. M. Baker, state sanitary engineer of the Wisconsin state board of health, a registered attendance of 48. As some of those present did not register, he thinks that the total attendance numbered about 55 or 60. The illustration herewith shows the members assembled in front of the meeting hall in Madison, Wis., on June 9.

The officers of the section, as previously published in our June 21 issue, are: Prof. Daniel W. Mead, president; Leon A. Smith, vice-president, and C. M. Baker, secretary-treasurer, all of Madison, who with H. A. Griffey, Janesville, and H. P. Bohmann, Milwaukee, constitute the executive committee.
