NYC Firefighters Find Two Bodies While Fighting Brush Fire

Police are investigating after firefighters discovered the bodies of two men while battling a brush fire in Queens (NYC), reports CBS 2 New York.

As firefighters started to fight the heavy flames, they discovered the bodies of two adult males in a grassy area adjacent to the Belt Parkway, police said.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said the victims were bound and possibly gagged.

The field of wild weeds is part of Spring Creek Park, the largest amount of undeveloped land and wetlands in the northern Jamaica Bay area with the Belt Parkway on one side and a bustling neighborhood on the other.
