Ohio Volunteers Get Decals

Ohio’s Governor C. William O’Neill has requested the Highway Patrol to issue special decals for identifying the autos of all duly accredited volunteer firemen in the state.

A letter of instruction from Fire Marshal Emmett P. Brush, Jr. to all fire chiefs explains the procurement procedures.

The decals are to be displayed in the lower right hand portion of the front window and only one will be permitted on each car.

The identification marker does not make the auto an emergency vehicle.
