Pennsylvania Fire Police Officer Dies of Cardiac Arrest

A 41-year-old Pennsylvania fire police officer died after responding to a structure fire.

The U.S. Fire Administration reports that Melissa “Missy” Doll of the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department passed away from an apparent cardiac arrest on July 16 after responding to a mutual aid structure fire late the night before.

She had 20 years of service.
