Pennsylvania Firemen in Convention

The annual convention of the Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association was held at Harrisburg the past week, with the largest attendance of any firemen’s convention held in the country this season. By a unanimous vote the convention condemned an attempt to use the association for political purposes, and adopted a by-law providing that anyone doing so in the future shall forfeit his office. Former Chief M. S. Humphreys, of Pittsburg, was elected president; W. W. Wunder, of Reading, secretary, and A. L. Reichenhach, of Allentown, treasurer, for the coming year.

CHIEF T. P. PURCELL, DUBLIN, IRELAND, FIRE BRIGADE
