Pension Bill in Ohio
A special joint committee of the Ohio Firemen’s Association, the Ohio Firemen’s Protective Association and the Ohio Police Chief’s Association conferred with representatives of the Northwestern Ohio Volunteer Firemen’s Association at Lima, last week, regarding the proposed firemen’s pension bill, which is to be presented at the next legislature. It was decided to include volunteer firemen of the state in the provisions of the new law, allowing them to receive benefits similar to those of paid firemen.
