President Marston Continues Fire Prevention Committee of The International Association of Fire Engineers

Chief Harry L. Marston, president of the International Association of Fire Engineers, has announced that impressed with the valuable report of the Committee on Fire Prevention at the last meeting he deems it advisable, in view of the importance of the subject, to continue the committee for another year, and for the committee to make further report at the coming convention in Providence this summer. In announcing his decision to Secretary James McFall, of Roanoke, Va., President Marston wrote: “It is my intention to continue the Committee on Fire Prevention, but I find that Chief Kenlon cannot retain the Chairmanship as he expects to be out of the country 2 1/2 months next summer, but I will continue the balance of the committee and add to it Chief George L. Johnson, of Waltham, Mass., as the Chairman. Please notify each of the committee of their appointment and Chief Johnson of his appointment as Chairman.”
