PROFESSOR W.T. SEDGWICK, PRESIDENT, N. E. WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION
The president of the association, Professor William T. Sedgwick, is one of the most experienced biologists in the country, and is the principal lecturer on this subject in the Massachusetts School of Technology For eight years he was biologist to the Massachusetts State board of health and more recently expert in the Burlington, Vt., water supply investigation. He was also engaged as biologist in Pittsburg, l’a., city water supply, the Chicago drainage canal case, and is at the present time engaged on the water supply question of Seattle, Washington. Professor Sedgwick is a very impressive speaker, and, as presiident of the New England Waterworks assn ciation has added materially to its already s iccessful administration, lie has devoted most oi his attention to the subject of water supplies.
