Proposals for Fire Hose

FOND DU LAC, WISCONSIN

Bids received until March 13, 1928

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, at 10:00 A. M., Tuesday, March 13, 1928, for furnishing the following:

1500 feet, more or less, of 2 1/2 inches diameter double jacket cotton, rubber lined fire hose in 50 foot lengths; each length to have male and female couplings with standard thread of 7 1/2 threads per inch and equipped with heavy rocker lug couplings, and to test 400 pounds pressure.

300 feet, more or less, of 3/4 inch chemical hose, 4 ply rubber cover in 50 foot lengths; each length to have male and female couplings.

One piece of Fire Hose 22 feet long by 2 1/2 inches in diameter with female thread couplings on each end, 7 1/2 threads per inch.

Two pieces of fire hose, each piece 18 feet long by 2 1/2 inches in diameter with female thread colliding on one end only, 7 1/2 threads per inch.

All of above mentioned hose to have Underwriters’ label.

Last three mentioned pieces of hose must be extra heavy as same is to be used for sprinkling purposes.
