Propose a Victory Convention

Propose a Victory Convention

At a largely attended meeting of the Lancaster, Pa., Veteran Firemen’s Association, recently, the members expressed deep regret that the convention of the Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association had been called off at the request of the Fuel Administration, but also expressed their perfect willingness and pleasure at complying with a request of the Government, the cancellatoin of the convention being a very necessary patriotic movement. I. H. Neuman, in a circular to the members of the association has stated that when the war is over, Lancaster’s firemen and citizens will ask the Executive Committee of the State Firemen’s Association to celebrate the victory convention in Lancaster in a much greater way than had been planned for this convention.
