Quick Hitching at New Haven.

At New Haven, Conn., the annual inspection and hitchiugup test of the fire department resulted in the remarkably short times required by the various engine and hose companies. The following table gives the time in seconds taken by each company at this test. It is interesting to note in this connection that the Berry quickhitch devices are used:
